I’m a PhD student at the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering department at the University of Toronto. My advisor is Prof. Elias Khalil. My researh is in using Machine Learning for Discrete Optimization. Currently, I’m working on the use of Machine Learning to accelerate the generation of cutting planes for general Integer Programming.

Before coming to UofT, I worked as an instructor at Universidad de los Andes. I hold an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes and a BSc. in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
